3 Days Lactation Management Training

Asia Pacific Medical Center (APMC) – Aklan recently hosted an extensive Lactation Management Training aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of both medical and non-medical staff. The event took place in the Auditorium and the Lecture Room, both situated on the 7th floor.

We were particularly honored to welcome esteemed guest speakers from the Provincial Health Office and the Department of Health Aklan, who shared their expertise and valuable insights to the event. These professionals shared their extensive experience and up-to-date information on the importance of breastfeeding, proper lactation techniques, and the role of healthcare providers and support staff in promoting and sustaining breastfeeding practices. Their presentations covered a range of topics, including the physiological and psychological benefits of breastfeeding, strategies for overcoming common breastfeeding challenges, and the implementation of supportive policies within healthcare settings.

The presence of these distinguished speakers underscored the commitment of APMC – Aklan to fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in maternal and child healthcare. The event was a resounding success, leaving attendees better equipped to advocate and support breastfeeding mothers, ultimately contributing to improved health for both mothers and their infants.
