Safety Is First at Asia Pacific Medical Center Aklan

Standard First Aid incorporates all of Emergency First Aid and is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid including, legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, chest injuries, and medical emergencies.

The Hospital Emergency Medical Services or HEMS, with the cooperation of Aklan PDRRMO and Aerodrome Rescue and Fire Fighting, hosted a 3-day Standard First Aid training last September 4-6, 2023 at APMC-Aklan 7th floor auditorium. Attendees came from different departments of the hospital such as Nursing Department, which made up almost a third of the participants, Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Security Services Dept, and other Hospital Personnel.
